From November 7 to 8, 2019, the “Seminar on Air Cargo Market Analysis and Development Planning” sponsored by ACL Industry Research Institute of Air City Development Co., Ltd. and co-organized by the Civil Aviation Training Center was successfully held in Chengdu, Sichuan. About 50 representatives from near 30 units, including airports and air cargo companies and management units of airport economic zones from Guangxi, Ningbo, Jiangxi, Chongqing, Chengdu, Guangdong, Yunnan, Qingdao, Tianjin, Hebei, Xinjiang, Guizhou, Shenyang, Chengdu and Beijing, as well as Boeing, Tongji University, COMAC, and network technology companies, participated in the seminar. This seminar also received strong support from Sichuan Airport Group Co., Ltd.
During the seminar, experts and students carried out full discussion and sharing on the topics such as “analysis and development of international and domestic air cargo market forecast”, “countermeasures of air cargo related companies under the new situation” and “business analysis and coordinated development of related companies on the air cargo chain”. In addition, they also conducted interactive discussions with representatives of the airport groups in various places on “Air Freight Innovation and Development”.
 

 
After the seminar, all participants visited the Air Cargo Logistics Park of Chengdu Shuangliu International Airport, listened to the introduction of the representative of Sichuan Airport Group about the Chengdu international aviation market and Chengdu Shuangliu International Cargo Terminal, and learned about the freight area of Tianfu International Airport under construction.

It is a seminar at the right time. It not only helps them more clearly understand the situation of the national freight market and future development opportunities, but also has important reference significance for developing local airport air freight market and improving aviation logistics innovative services.
The participants all agreed that they have learned a lot from this seminar.
